What’s been happening?
October was a special month for Te Ramanui, mainly because of the gig we played at Flux on Thursday the 12th. It was an event to showcase his skill, and to bring together a community from diverse backgrounds and have everyone dancing together, and thats exactly what happened! The night started around 7pm with lots of familiar faces turning up, and some reggae rhythms to warm up the crowd. Pretty soon DJ Ramanui had the crowd fully engaged and moving their bodies to the music, and from there the night just flew by. An outstanding crowd of pure joy, happiness, and laughter, it was a night to remember!
Aside from the gig at Flux, Te has been busy creating a new playlist for his next gig in November.
What’s coming up?
On the 4th of November Te will be taking his entire kit – smoke machine and all – to the Ties and Tiaras Team Social Disco. The event runs for 2 hours, and Te has been picking all of his favourite tracks to play for this one.
